What's in my cart :)

Have you ever heard the expression, "If you're feeling froggy, then leap?" Apparently, we must be feeling that way because we have decided to take the leap and purchase Kimberly Geswein's All Fonts License! Woohoo!  Love, love, love all her work :) We cannot think of a better way to treat ourselves for Teacher Appreciation!

And while we are in the froggy frame of mind, we thought we would just keep that theme going in our upcoming therapy.  Thank goodness for the TpT Teacher Appreciation Sale this week so we can stock up on some new frog-themed items for our kiddos!

Here's what we have in our cart for the sale:

5 Green & Speckled Frogs Nursery Rhyme Activities 2-Pack by Speech Sprouts.  This great bundle consists of Lisette's Five Green and Speckled Frogs Interactive Flip Book & Reader and Five Green and Speckled Frogs Spring Activities for Speech Therapy.  Activities are included for language concepts, articulation, and literacy.

Fluency Frogs by The Speech Umbrella is a 50 page leveled, comprehensive stuttering and dysfluency pack which includes 2 mats containing fluency shaping strategies; word level, phrase level, sentence level, description level, question level, role-playing level, and discourse level fluency stimulus items; a game board; and homework sheets.

We also found this fantastic freebie that goes right along with our frog theme :)  Where is Little Frog? Book for Positional Concepts by Jessica Finch, The Speech Peach.  This adorable little book can be used for teaching positional concepts or prepositional phrases such as beside, next to, in front of, in, over, and under with a cute ladybug and frog. It also includes picture cards for reinforcement, sequencing, and story telling.

When we do a frog theme, our very favorite frog book to read is The Big Wide-Mouthed Frog by Ana Martin Larranaga. The kids never get tired of hearing this book and we never get tired of reading it. Because we use this book every year, we developed a book companion to go along with it.  Our Big Wide-Mouthed Frog Language & Literacy Lesson includes activities for listening comprehension, vocabulary, phonological awareness, and targeted language skills as well as a fun summarizing activity. Included are character picture cards for reinforcement, sequencing, and story retelling. (Shout out to Angela for making these awesome picture cards! They are just too darn cute!)

Now that you know what we have in our cart, click the link below go to Jenna Rayburn's Speech Room News Blog to find out about more great bargains and to see what other SLPs are buying. Thanks, Jenna, for hosting this linky party!
