The Best Summer Time Picnic Recipes

Sweet summer time!  No more testing, paperwork, or waking up to an alarm for a while! Staying up late and sleeping in in the mornings are some of my favorite things about summer.  There's just something about being the only one still awake in my house.  It's so quiet and peaceful, no squabbling over what's on TV or who gets the best spot on the sofa :) I can watch Food Network and HGTV to my heart's content, all while catching up on social media.  Last week during my quiet middle-of-the-night time, I stumbled across a Facebook post by Karol at Mrs. S's Health and PE Resources about submitting a favorite summer time picnic recipe.  She was compiling a FREE recipe book featuring recipes from various TpT sellers. I thought this sounded like fun (no pun intended, lol) so I sent her one of our favorite appetizer recipes.  Bacon Cheeseball is always a hit with our school family. It's so yummy and it's fairly easy to make.

If you are looking for a scrumptious summer recipe, take a minute and check out these fabulous free recipes (which, by the way, were recognized in last week's TpT weekly newsletter). This awesome recipe book contains 75 recipes including appetizers, main dishes, sides, salads, desserts, and drinks. So much good stuff! No doubt you will find some recipes you will want to make.  I know there are several I cannot wait to try!
