Boo!

Things are getting scary around here! We are gearing up for Halloween and making some ghostly creations this week. Join the fun by making these cute ghost necklaces with your students. Girls and boys alike enjoy taking a speech turn then stringing a bead. This activity is not only good for practicing speech, but helps with fine motor skills as well :)

We used a sharpie to write articulation words on the back
of the ghosts for students to practice at home.

Visit our TpT store and take a look at our Inside a House That is Haunted Companion.  This language and literacy lesson contains listening comprehension questions, vocabulary extension targeting a higher level vocabulary word from the story, a phonological awareness activity focusing on initial sounds in words, a cause and effect language activity, and a fun summarizing activity which includes a rhyming poem and art activity. This is a great lesson for a small or large group!
